Join two leading voices who have spent decades studying, writing about, and working with AI as they share real-world insights and practical experience.
A grounded intelligent conversation about what AI means for our education sectors. Our children, our grandchildren — and the future of work and enterprise.
Don’t sit on the sidelines while the future is being written. Join the conversation.
Artificial Intelligence isn’t coming — it’s already here.
But how widespread is it really? And how will it reshape our work, our businesses, our communities, and Australia’s place in the world? We heard in May about the future and disruption here now.
A question we all hear is "What will it do to our education systems"?
Speakers have 10 minutes each. Questions - 20 minutes for each. Bring your questions.
- Frederique Dennison is the founder of CirceanWorks and creator of Quendi, an AI study companion built on the science of learning. She believes AI will either amplify human potential or quietly erode it, and the difference comes down to whether we develop critical thinking before we hand people the tool. She also believes the direction AI takes shouldn't be decided by a handful of technology companies but can be shaped by the people and communities who will live with it, starting with how we educate the next generation. Her conviction: in the era of AI, the schools and regions that thrive will be the ones that develop human potential, not the ones that adopt the most technology. After two decades in global corporations, Frederique chose to apply that experience to education and has spent two years inside schools with teachers and students, testing what that actually looks like in a classroom. She sits on the board of Montessori International College. Her argument on the night: the real question for this generation isn't whether they use AI, it's whether they've built the judgement and capability to use it well, and that only comes from developing the human, not just the tool.
