Nominations for the Committee

Fairfax Matters is a community organisation — run entirely by local volunteers who care about where we live and how our democracy works. We have no paid staff and no head office. Everything we do, from keeping politicians accountable to running hubs across the electorate, happens because people step up.

That means our committee only exists because members are willing to take on leadership roles. Every year we need people prepared to serve as Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, or as a general Committee Member — helping set direction, keep things running, and represent the organisation in the community.

If you believe in what Fairfax Matters is doing and can give some time and leadership, we’d welcome your nomination — or your nomination of someone else. Every nomination needs a nominator and a seconder, both of whom should be current members who support the nomination.
